Palácio de Seteais

This neoclassical palace of the late eighteenth century consists of two wings connected by a triumphal arch, from where you have a beautiful view of the Serra de Sintra.

 The home of aristocrats to be transformed into a hotel in 1953, hosting some of the most famous names of the time as US president Richard Nixon and the writer Agatha Christie. The grand interior is filled with romantic paintings, crystal chandeliers and luxurious surroundings that retains the charm of the eighteenth century.
