Departing from Lisbon, you will cross the Tejo river by the Vasco da Gama Bridge towards Évora, to discover the characteristic landscape of Alentejo, where in the midst of the golden plains Romans founded the city of Evora, a world heritage site by UNESCO. In Évora City we will admire the famous Roman Temple, the Gothic-Romanesque Cathedral, S. Francisco Church and the impressive Bones Chapel and Almendres Cromeleq.
In a land of vineyards planted by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and for great houses and agricultural producers have argued that the brand Alentejo among the great Portuguese wines, was one of the most delicious and with unique culinary traditions. In the afternoon, we will visit one winery, where you will have the opportunity of witness Alentejo wines quality.
